5 km Philippe-Laheurte Memorial – Endurance circuit
The inaugural Philippe-Laheurte Memorial honors runner Philippe Laheurte and celebrates 40 years of Boutique Endurance, cofounded in 1985. The event revives elements of the 5 km Endurance held from 1993 to 2019 and raises funds for the Philippe-Laheurte Foundation, which has supported Quebec track and field athletes since 1995.
Distances offered:
- 1 km
- 2 km
- 5 km
The 5 km uses three start waves; one wave is for runners targeting under 25 minutes and two waves have a 45 minute time limit. Prizes are awarded to winners of the fastest wave. No on-site registration is available.
The event takes place at Parc Philippe Laheurte in Saint-Laurent. Bibs are handed out on the morning of the event at the registration area and must be worn on the outside of clothing for chip detection. Participants taking part in multiple events must wear the correct bib and chip for each event.
On-site services include closed-course routes, start mat, kilometer markers, one water station on the 5 km, free race photos via PixiSport, first aid, a post-race snack, free bag drop, nearby free parking and online results on Sportstats.ca. Medals are awarded to the top three in each age group and to all finishers of the 5 km. Certification is pending. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
