4th of July Run Through Maplewood
The event is a 5K run or walk routed through neighborhood streets in Maplewood, New Jersey. The course is described as semi-hilly and uses chip timing for both the start and the finish. Participants may choose to run or walk.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Columbia High School Track and Field and Cross Country programs. The organizers note that community support is important to the teams and that donations are accepted from those who do not participate.
Registration opens on May 27, 2026 and closes on June 30, 2026. The registration fee is $35. Race T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 220 registered runners. Advance bib and T-shirt pickup is scheduled for July 3 with time and location to be announced, and race-day bib and shirt pickup will be available on July 4.
