4Star 4Mile Race 11th Annual
The 4Star 4Mile Race is held on November 8, 2026, at Dean Savage Memorial Park in Corktown, Detroit, as part of Detroit's Annual Salute to Armed Services and in celebration of Veterans Day. The event is in its 11th year and features a 4-mile out-and-back loop that runs alongside the annual Veterans Day Parade on the same course.
Participant options include an open 4-mile race, a veteran or active duty military division, a ruck division and a virtual 4-mile option. Ruck participants receive a commemorative ruck patch at the finish. Registration opens March 5, 2026; deadlines vary by division and fees differ by entry type.
The course passes local landmarks such as The Corner, the renovated Michigan Train Station, and through Mexican town before returning to the finish. Awards are given for top overall male and female, top masters (40 and up) male and female, overall military/veteran male and female, and 10-year age group awards for male and female.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Batch Brewing Company and on race day at the IBEW building near the intersection of Porter and Trumbull.
