401 is a chip timed race of 4 km held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, on the Mill Run Trail in Cambridge, Ontario.
The course uses the flat unpaved section of the Mill Run Trail between Speedsville Road and Beaverdale Road. The route is a 2 km out and back that makes up a certified 4 km distance on crushed gravel; the organizer notes the course may measure 4.01 km.
The start area is near 400 Speedsville Road. Parking is available at Riverside Park with a short walk to the race site; there is an at grade crossing at Speedsville Road to reach the start.
Event format and policies: the race is part of the Run Pure + Simple series and is free for Run Waterloo members. There is no swag, minimal or no food and awards, and entries are non refundable, non transferable, and non deferrable. Strollers are not permitted on course. Timing uses reusable chips that must be returned after finishing.
