YMCA 4 on the 4th - Covington
The YMCA 4 on the 4th takes place on July 4, 2026 in Covington, Louisiana at 601 Filmore Street, corner of 15th Ave and Filmore St. The event comprises a community four mile running and walking event plus a short kids race for children 10 and under.
Event distances include:
- 4 Miles - running and walking
- 0.5 Miles - kids 10 and under, about two laps around the park
Registration opens May 18, 2026 and closes June 22, 2026. To receive a race shirt and a lower registration fee, registrations must be completed by June 21, 2026. Stated fees are $35 for the 4 Mile and $15 for the kids race. All registration is completed online; no paper forms are accepted.
The participant field is limited to 400 runners. When available, race day registration is offered at a higher fee. Event proceeds are returned to the community and support youth sports and activities through the local YMCA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
