This multi-day running event at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta NJ offers a range of timed races and single-distance options across the week. Event options include extended timed races (including 6, 12, 24, 48, 72 and 144 hour formats) and standalone Marathon and 50K entries that can be run during the multi-day schedule.
The course is a certified 1.000 mile flat loop on pavement with about 5% crushed gravel. The Marathon and 50K courses are certified and the marathon serves as a Boston qualifier. The loop is lit for night running and a live display shows laps completed and positions.
Facilities on site include a staffed aid station with a full kitchen serving hot and cold food plus vegetarian and vegan options, access to a walk-in refrigerator for participants, heated bathrooms and shower facilities adjacent to the course, plenty of parking, and electrical outlets at poles. Camping on grassy areas is allowed and RV parking is available for a posted fee paid on site.
Timing uses ankle chips with electronic lap counting; only completed laps count. Pacers and trekking poles are not allowed. Day of registration is available. Entry fee tiers and refund rules are posted by the organizer; a 50% refund is available until eight weeks before the event and transfers require organizer notification. Awards include top male and female placings for each time category and lifetime mileage coins and milestone belt buckles. Pets on leash are permitted on the fairgrounds.
