26.415 mile unsanctioned city jog in San Francisco
This is an unsanctioned, unofficial group jog covering a distance of 26.415 miles through San Francisco on Saturday, July 25. The route moves through several well known city locations and is presented as a single continuous course.
The early portion of the route covers a number of highlights including the Ferry Building, the Presidio, Lands End, Golden Gate Park and the Painted Ladies. Those locations are noted as being contained within the first 15 miles of the route.
There will be a refreshment stop at mile 20 located at the store at 1354 Castro Street, San Francisco, CA 94114. Participants may run part of the route or the entire distance; running the course as a relay is an option mentioned in the event description.
