2-4-GO May long weekend
2-4-GO runs from May 16 to 18, 2026 and offers a series of adventure orienteering activities across Southern Ontario to coincide with World Orienteering Week.
Events take place Saturday May 16 at Hidden Valley Park in Burlington and Monday May 18 at Fireman's Park in Niagara. Virtual MapRun courses are available for the entire weekend at Loree Forest in Collingwood and Ardagh Bluffs in Barrie.
All courses use a Choose Your Adventure format. Participants have a set time to visit as many checkpoints as possible in any order, earning points at each checkpoint. Points are deducted for every minute spent beyond the time limit.
Time limits are Burlington 1 hour, Niagara 1 hour, Collingwood 90 minutes, and Barrie 1 hour.
Entry fees for Burlington and Niagara are listed by category: adult $10, youth $5, DGL club member free. Registration closing dates are provided for each site. MapRun courses cost $5 per participant and are free for DGL club members; MapRun registration closes Sunday May 17 at 8pm. Entry fees include copies of the race map and a 2026 DontGetLost Adventure Running day membership to cover race insurance. Entry fees do not include HST or online transaction charge.
