12Ks for the Holidays 2026
12Ks for the Holidays takes place at The Cedars on Old Canton Road in Jackson, Mississippi on November 21, 2026. The event is organized as a fundraiser for the Good Samaritan Center and its Christmas Assistance program.
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 12K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- Virtual run or walk
- Imaginary ELF entry for shirt and prize eligibility
- 1-mile fun run free
- Children's "I Ran With Santa" fun run free for participants
Registration is tiered with early bird and later pricing windows. Day of registration is available at $60 per runner with shirt if shirts remain and $35 per runner without shirt. A race T-shirt is guaranteed for the first 400 runners and for the first fifty children in the free "I Ran With Santa" fun run.
The course traditionally winds through the historic Fondren neighborhood in Jackson the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Funds raised support the Good Samaritan Center's holiday assistance efforts, including toys and food baskets for children and families and Christmas presents for seniors.
