12Ks for the Holidays 2026
12Ks for the Holidays is scheduled for November 21, 2026 at The Cedars on Old Canton Road in Jackson, Mississippi. The event benefits the Good Samaritan Center and supports its Christmas Assistance program, which provides toys and holiday food baskets for children and families and Christmas presents for seniors.
The event offers a range of participation options:
- 12K run
- 5K run
- 5K walk
- Virtual run or walk
- Imaginary ELF shirt only entry for door prize eligibility
- 1-Mile fun run (free)
- Free children's "I Ran With Santa" fun run
Races traditionally wind through the historic Fondren neighborhood in Jackson the Saturday before Thanksgiving. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for the first 400 runners and for the first fifty children in the free "I Ran With Santa" fun run. Day of registration is available at a higher fee with a shirt option and a no-shirt option; discounts do not apply for day of registration.
