Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas
The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department produces the Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas races in October. The event on Saturday, October 10, 2026 begins and concludes at Northshore Park and includes multiple distance events on a USATF-sanctioned, certified 10-mile course. All races are capped to manage safety and participant experience.

The 10-mile race carries a USATF certification and chip timing; the 10-mile and 5K are recommended for ages 10 and older. One 4 Texas is an untimed, non-competitive 1-mile event recommended for ages 5 and up. Field limits are published for each race: the 10-mile at 850, the 5K at 500, and the kids' run at 200. Packet pickup is scheduled in the days before the race at The Woodlands Township Town Hall; packets include a race bib and participant shirt, and 10-mile participants receive a hat.
Course management includes five hydration stations, on-course medical staff and a post-race Memorial Hermann medical tent, and traffic control officers along the route. The finish line closes three hours after the start and a 16-minute-per-mile pace policy is enforced to reopen roads on schedule.
