About the race
The Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas is an annual October race weekend produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department at Northshore Park in The Woodlands. The event features three races and a post-race party with music, food and drinks in the park.
The event includes:
- 10 mile Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas, USATF sanctioned and certified.
- 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K, chip timed and recommended for ages 10 and older.
- One 4 Texas Kids Fun Run, a non-competitive 1 mile event recommended for ages 5 and up.
All races are capped (10 mile 850; 5K 500; One 4 Texas 200) and the 10 mile and 5K use disposable timing tags provided by the organizers. There will be five hydration stations with water and/or sports drink along the course. Medical support is provided by Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine staff on course and at a medical tent in the post-race area. Traffic control officers will be stationed along the route and Montgomery County deputies will manage street closures and re-openings.
Race policies include a full refund deadline on September 19, 2026, no packet resale or race day registration, and a minimum pace requirement of 16 minutes per mile to remain on course. Packet pickup takes place at The Woodlands Township Town Hall in the days before the race. Additional rules prohibit pets on the course, strollers, bicycles and other wheeled devices except wheelchairs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
