Run Along Lake Garda
The Fila Lake Garda 42 provides a weekend of running activities set against the scenery of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains. The event features multiple race options over different distances and starting locations, concluding in the town of Malcesine.
Participants can choose from several main categories:
- LG42: A 42 km marathon starting from the lakefront in Limone. The route follows the lake towards Riva del Garda and passes through orchards on the way to Arco.
- LG21: A 21 km half marathon starting in Arco. The course follows the Sarca river toward Torbole before heading to the finish.
- LG KIDS: A youth event held in the center of Arco, typically taking place the day before the main races.
Registered participants receive a service package that includes official timing with intermediate marks, an online certificate, and a finisher medal. The event provides nine refreshment stations for the marathon and five for the half marathon, along with catering at the finish line. A free shuttle service involving buses and ferries connects the different event locations.
