Bridge Burner Ultra
Bridge Burner Ultra is a trail running event in Cañon City, Colorado on October 24, 2026. The event offers multiple distances:

The primary course is a single loop that follows the Arkansas River and passes through the granite blasted Tunnel Drive tunnels. Runners climb to the highest point of the route at 7,109 feet with views of the Royal Gorge and Pikes Peak, travel rolling singletrack within Royal Gorge Mountain Park, cross the highest bridge in the United States, and descend through Temple Canyon.
Reported elevation gain by course is: 10k: 575 feet; 35k: 2,800 feet; 50k: 4,200 feet; 35 Mile: 4,400 feet.
Aid stations are described as well stocked with Tailwind, Muir Energy Gels, banana bread, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, soda, and warm cooked items such as bacon, quesadillas, potatoes, and pierogis. Crewing is permitted only at crew accessible aid stations. Pacers are prohibited. Parking for the start and finish is available at Centennial Park with additional parking north of the Arkansas River and in neighboring communities.
Pack pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 23, 2026 at Centennial Park from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday beginning at 7:15 AM at Centennial Park. Registration closes October 20, 2026 and includes a gender specific race shirt, BOCO trucker hat (excludes 10K), personalized bib, finishers award, stocked aid stations, and a post race meal.
