Event Overview
The Poznań Maraton is a significant athletic event held in the city of Poznań, Poland. The event features a full marathon distance of 42.195 km, consisting of a single loop. The course is officially certified by AIMS, World Athletics, and PZLA, with each kilometer clearly marked. The race starts on ul. Grunwaldzka and concludes at the Poznań International Fair (Plac Marka).
In addition to the main marathon, the event organizers coordinate several supporting runs:

- Pho3nix Kids Maraton: races for children and youth.
Technical Details
Participants are assigned to designated start zones based on their declared finish times, ranging from elite runners to those expecting to finish in over 4:30 hours. The marathon has a strict time limit of 6 hours. Time measurement is conducted using electronic chips attached to the participant's bib number.
Along the course, refreshment stations are provided approximately every 5 km, offering water and, at selected points, isotonic drinks and fruit. Medical assistance and restrooms are available near these stations. On-site facilities for participants include a deposit area for personal belongings, changing rooms, and showers located in the Poznań International Fair halls.
Registration and Participation
The event is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old on race day. Registration is handled online, with an entry limit of 8,000 paid participants. Runners may also purchase technical shirts and optional services such as medal engraving. Free accommodation is offered in sports halls for the first 600 registered participants who request it.
