Silesia Marathon 2026
The Silesia Marathon is a large-scale running event held in the Silesian region of Poland. The event features multiple distances suitable for various levels of experience, with all races culminating at the Stadion Śląski in Chorzów. All race routes are officially certified by the Polish Athletic Association (PZLA), with the marathon and half marathon also carrying IAAF certification.
The event program includes the following distances:
- Silesia 5K RUN (October 2, 2026)
- Silesia 10K RUN (October 3, 2026)
- Silesia Half Marathon (October 4, 2026)
- Silesia Marathon (October 4, 2026)
- Silesia Ultramarathon (October 4, 2026)
The finish line for all distances is located on the athletic track of the Silesian Stadium. Participants can benefit from designated starting zones based on declared times to ensure a smooth start. The marathon distance includes the assistance of pacemakers to help runners maintain specific target times.
The race office is located at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów (entrance via Gate 1A). Participants are encouraged to use public transport, which is free of charge for runners on the day of the race upon presentation of their starting number. For those arriving by car, paid parking lots are available within the Silesian Park area. Packets can be collected by a third party if they present the participant's electronic or printed QR code.
