About the race
Silesia Marathon is a running event with several race distances, organised around Superauto.pl Stadion Śląski in Chorzów. For 2026 the finish for the marathon and accompanying races is on the stadium track. The event includes the following distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- Ultramarathon
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
All race routes are certified: the marathon and half marathon hold IAAF and Polish Athletics Association certifications, and the ultramarathon holds a Polish Athletics Association certification. Pacemakers will run on the marathon course; their target times will be published two weeks before the event. Start zones will be marked and assigned according to the declaration made during registration. Assistance on bicycles or other vehicles on the course is prohibited.
Registration runs from 22 December 2025 to 31 August 2026 using a voucher system; vouchers guarantee a start place and must be activated by 31 August 2026. Registration data can be completed on the athlete account after 31 January 2026. Payments are processed via events.silesiamarathon.pl with card or bank transfer through the iMoje platform. Start packets may be collected by an authorised person who presents the QR ticket.
