Athens Marathon. The Authentic
The Athens Marathon, known as "The Authentic," is organized by SEGAS with the support of the City of Athens and the Hellenic Olympic Committee. This historic event offers various distances for participants to experience a significant athletic tradition. The 43rd edition of the event takes place in the cities of Marathon and Athens, featuring a total of 15 support stations along the routes to assist the participants.
The event expects a high level of participation, with approximately 75,000 runners supported by 5,000 volunteers. The program includes the following race options:

- 5 km Road Race
- 5 km Universities Night Run
- 1.2 km Kids Run
The weekend also features the Allwyn Marathon Expo, described as the largest sporting goods exhibition in Greece. Additionally, the event hosts Authentic Talks, where various personalities discuss the values associated with the marathon. Registration options include individual and group entries, and the event provides a dedicated Runner Service Center for athlete support.
