Stockholm Half Marathon
The Stockholm Half Marathon offers a race covering exactly 21,097.5 meters through the central parts of the Swedish capital. The event features a unique and flat course that passes through several major districts, including Norrmalm, Vasastan, Kungsholmen, Gamla Stan (the Old Town), and Södermalm.
The start and finish lines are located near the Royal Palace, providing a central setting for the race. Participants can pick up their race kits at the Runners Expo, which is held in Kungsträdgården in the days leading up to the event. This location also serves as the site for the after-run activities.
Organized by the athletics clubs Hässelby SK and Spårvägens FK, the event operates on a non-profit basis. All financial surpluses from the race are reinvested entirely into sports programs.
