Midnight Sun Marathon
The Midnight Sun Marathon is an international road running event held in Tromsø, Norway, located north of the Arctic Circle. The competition takes place during the summer when the sun does not set, allowing participants to run under the midnight sun. In 2025, the event reached a record of nearly 9,000 runners representing 88 different nations. The 2026 edition will also host the Norwegian Marathon Championship (NM i maraton).
The event features several different distances to accommodate various age groups and experience levels. The marathon, half marathon, and 10 km courses are A-measured and certified.
