41st SPAR Budapest Maraton® Festival
The SPAR Budapest Maraton® Festival is the largest leisure sports event in Hungary, held over a weekend in October. The event takes place on a route that passes through World Heritage sites and offers views of Budapest's panoramas. In 2024, the festival recorded over 40,000 participants from hundreds of different countries.
Participants can choose from a wide variety of distances and activities held over two days. Saturday traditionally features shorter distances, while Sunday focuses on longer runs. The festival includes professional timing, musical entertainment along the course, and finishers receive a unique medal and event t-shirt.
