About the race
The Zurich Maratón de Sevilla is a city marathon held in Seville with an entry limit of 20,000 runners. The event includes the main marathon and parallel activities such as a 5K Breakfast Run, children's races, an expo, a pasta meal and points of on-course animation. Services for participants include training plans, bag drop, medical assistance, water and WC points, start corrals and prize awards.
The event has World Athletics Elite Label recognition among its institutional partners. Registration is managed online and follows priority phases: a preferential period for participants from the previous edition, a subsequent phase for those on the prior year waiting list, and a general registration phase if places remain. The registration period runs from 9 April 2026 until 15 February 2027 or until the 20,000 places are sold. Prices vary by category and registration window. General registration is shown at €82.10, with a waiting-list price of €97.10 if entries are exhausted; special resident rates and earlier promotional prices apply for people registered in municipalities of Seville province.
A mandatory day license fee of €5 applies unless the runner holds an accepted federative license. Registrations are personal and nontransferable and require acceptance of the event regulations. Participants can add a cancellation guarantee at registration for €15 to receive a full refund of the entry fee if claimed before 17 January 2027.
