About the race
The Zurich Maratón de Sevilla is an annual road running event held in Seville that includes a full marathon and complementary races and activities. The event programme features the marathon, a 5K Breakfast Run and a virtual edition, plus parallel activities such as an expo, a pasta meal, children’s races, photo and drawing contests, and public animation points. Registration for the 2027 edition is limited to 20,000 places. The organiser applies a multi‑phase registration process with priority windows for runners who were registered in the 2026 edition and for those who were on the 2026 waiting list, followed by general registration while places remain.
The open registration period runs from 9 April 2026 until 15 February 2027 or until places are sold out. There are differentiated prices and special promotions for residents of municipalities in the province of Seville, for clubs and for people with a recognized disability. A one‑day licence fee of 5 euros to the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation applies unless the participant holds a federative licence. The entry is personal and non‑transferable.
An optional cancellation guarantee can be purchased at registration for 15 euros, allowing a full refund of the inscription fee under the specified conditions until 17 January 2027. The event’s title sponsor is Zurich. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
