Flat Continental Course
The Zurich Maratón de Sevilla is noted for having a very flat course layout. The event offers participants the opportunity to run through the streets of Seville on a route designed for speed. The marathon has a participant limit of 20,000 runners.

Registration follows a phased loyalty system, giving priority to previous participants and those on former waiting lists before opening to the general public. Special registration rates are available for residents of the province of Seville and for athletes with a recognized disability of at least 33%.
