Zuikerkop Adventure Dash

Zuikerkop Adventure Dash is a mixed outdoor event held at Zuikerkop Country Game Lodge in Clocolan, Free State. The programme combines trail running and mountain biking across the lodge's game farm, with routes that run over mountains, through valleys and along jeep tracks, single track and stretches of gravel road. Many routes stay inside the game farm and offer opportunities to see wildlife.

The event includes family-oriented activities and on-site facilities such as a jumping castle, pony rides, a swimming pool, beer and gin tasting, a coffee stand and food stalls. Live entertainment and a big screen showing rugby are part of the programme, plus afternoon game drives through the camp. Prize giving and a range of fun activities for children are scheduled during the day.

Race distance options include the following mountain bike routes:

• 16 km MTB beginner route
• 30 km MTB intermediate route
• 60 km MTB long route

Trail running distances include:

• 6 km colour fun run for families
• 11 km trail run
• 20 km trail run
