The Zoom RedHawk Triathlon & Multisport Festival
The event takes place at Hueston Woods State Park Beach in Oxford, Ohio. Packet pickup, the start and finish areas, and race festivities are located at the beachfront just east of the park office and south of the campground. There is plentiful parking at the beachfront and the beach is on the west side of the lake off Main Loop Road.
Organizers offer free training help, event tees in men’s, women’s and youth cuts, in-race photography, custom race bibs, finisher medals, and a catered post-race meal. Medical support and law enforcement will be on site and the event adheres to applicable Federal, State and local ordinances.
Events and distances include:
- Triathlons: Beginner 250 m swim, 8 mi bike, 1.5 mi run; Sprint 750 m swim, 14 mi bike, 5k run; Olympic 1500 m swim, 28 mi bike, 10k run; 1/3 Iron 2000 m swim, 42 mi bike, 9.3 mi run.
- Duathlons: Beginner 1.5 mi run, 8 mi bike, 1.5 mi run; Sprint 1.5 mi run, 14 mi bike, 5k run; Olympic 5k run, 28 mi bike, 10k run; 1/3 Iron 5k run, 42 mi bike, 9.3 mi run.
- Aquabikes: Sprint 750 m swim, 14 mi bike; Olympic 1500 m swim, 28 mi bike; 1/3 Iron 2000 m swim, 42 mi bike.
- Aquathlons: Sprint 750 m swim, 5k run; Olympic 1500 m swim, 10k run; 1/3 Iron 2000 m swim, 9.3 mi run.
- Open water swims: 1500 m, 3k, 5k.
- Open runs: 5k, 10k, 9.3 mi.
