About the race
Zombie Run 10K & 5K is a themed running event at Depena Reserve, Russell Avenue, Sandringham NSW, on Saturday, 24 October 2026, presented by Escape This. The event offers timed race waves with appointed zombie pacers for the main distances; runners who finish ahead of their pacer receive a SURVIVOR medal, while those who finish after the pacer receive a ZOMBIE/INFECTED medal. The course is described as flat and fast, and the organiser notes the event is no-contact and professionally timed.

A virtual 5K and 10K option lets participants complete their chosen distance within seven days of the event and receive a bib, temporary tattoos, and a medal based on their result. Standard entry fees listed in the event information are A$78 for the 10 km, A$61 for the 5 km, A$39 for the 2 km dash, and A$40 for virtual distances.
Entry transfers, distance changes, refunds, and cancellations follow published policies. Transfers to another person are allowed up to one week before the event for a A$15 admin fee. Refunds are available on a sliding scale up to eight weeks before the event with no refunds within 14 days of the event. Sponsors include Escape This, Holey Moley Golf Club, and Sydney Striders.
