Zombie Run Australia

Zombie Run Australia

Zombie Run Australia is a Halloween-themed running event held on 24 October 2026 at Dolls Point, Sydney NSW. The event offers timed waves set against zombie pacers; participants choose a target time for their 10 km or 5 km start wave and aim to finish before the corresponding zombie pacer. Participants who beat their zombie pacer receive a Survivor medal; those overtaken by the pacer receive an Infected medal. A separate walking wave, described as the zombie horde at the back, receives infected zombie medals at the finish.

Event features include:

• 10 km
• 5 km
• 2 km

Additional event provisions listed by the organiser include zombie pacers led by the Sydney Striders, finisher medals with an option to engrave, a zombie race tee, sheets of temporary tattoos, on-course hydration and recovery snacks, and available merchandise for purchase. Dressing up is encouraged and the event is described as safe and professionally run. The organiser also notes prizes and giveaways and describes the experience as immersive and themed rather than a standard running event.
