Zombie Run 10K & 5K : Depena Reserve, Sandringham (24 October 2026)
A themed Halloween running event held at Depena Reserve, Russell Avenue, Sandringham, NSW on Saturday 24 October 2026. The event stages in-person and virtual options and uses timed pacer waves for the main distances. Participants choose a target time for their wave; finishing ahead of the assigned zombie pacer earns a SURVIVOR medal, while finishing behind earns a ZOMBIE/INFECTED medal. The 2 km Zombie Dash has no pacers and awards a special dash medal.

What is included and event features Participants receive a pack of zombie-themed temporary tattoos and an event finisher medal appropriate to their result. An event t-shirt is available for purchase (cotton A$25 or tech A$35). The course is described as flat and fast. Zombie pacers are supported by Sydney Striders. The event is presented as a no-contact, professionally timed and managed experience with sponsor prizes and giveaways. Dressing up is encouraged and family-friendly participation is noted.
Transfers and refunds Entry transfers are allowed up to one week before the event for an administration fee of A$15. Refunds are scaled by how many weeks before the event a request is made, with no refunds available within two weeks of the event.
Virtual race details Virtual entrants receive a special bib and temporary tattoos; send results within seven days of the event, between 24 October and 1 November 2026, to receive the corresponding SURVIVOR or INFECTED medal by post. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
