Zombie Run 10K & 5K
The Zombie Run 10K & 5K is a Halloween-themed running event held at Depena Reserve, Russell Avenue, Sandringham, NSW on 24 October 2026. The event uses zombie pacers: entrants select a target time and are assigned a wave; finishing ahead of the pacer earns a SURVIVOR medal, finishing behind earns a ZOMBIE/INFECTED medal. The event is described as no-contact and professionally timed.
Available formats include in-person distances and virtual options. In-person features listed by the organiser include a flat, fast course, free zombie-themed temporary tattoos, event t-shirts (cotton A$25, tech A$35), sponsor prizes, and a themed finisher medal. Virtual entries for the 5K and 10K include a special bib, temporary tattoos, and a posted medal after submission of results; virtual entries must be completed within seven days of the event. A 2 km Zombie Dash is offered as a family-friendly option and awards a special dash medal; that distance does not use pacers.
