Overview
The Valentines Challenge is a six-hour timed running event on 14 February 2026, organised by Zig Zag Running at the Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on the event date. Maximum entry is 300 participants and entries close on 13 February 2026. Entry fees vary by medal option and affiliation, listed between £33 and £38.
Course and logistics
The event uses the Mount Barrow Route, a 10 km out-and-back loop. The course surface is road and pavement and is described as mainly flat with a few rises. Race HQ and base camp are at the start and lap point. An aid station is available at base camp and at every lap. Parking is included in the entry price. The event operates cupless refill stations, so participants must bring their own bottles or cups.
