Event details

Valentines Challenge is a six-hour timed running event on 14 February 2026 at the Suffolk Running Centre, Church Road, Bury St Edmunds, IP29 5AX. The event uses a mass start and is open to entrants aged 18 and over. Maximum field size is 300. Entries close on 13/02/2026 and transfers close on 07/02/2026. Entry fees range from £33 to £38 depending on medal option and affiliation.

Course and logistics

The event uses the Mount Barrow Route, described as a 10k out-and-back loop. The surface is road/pavement and is mainly flat with a few rises. Race HQ and Base Camp are located at the start and lap point. There is an aid station at the base camp and aid is available every lap. Parking is included with entry. The event is cupless, so participants should bring their own bottles or cups for refilling.

Medals and organisation

A bespoke event medal is available, or entrants may choose a lucky-dip finisher medal selected from previous events.
