Zeal Rum Runners Race Series
Zeal Rum Runners Race Series is the 2nd annual timed running event held on October 3, 2026 at Iowa Colony City Park, 4003 Meridiana Parkway, Iowa Colony, TX 77583. The event includes in-person and virtual options and a dedicated kids race. Packet pickup is available the day before or the morning of the event.

- 10K - 6.2 Miles
- 5K - 3.1 Miles
- Kids 1K - 0.62 Miles recommended ages 5 to 12, parents welcome to run alongside younger participants
- Virtual 5K and Virtual 10K options
Registration opens January 16, 2026. Registration deadlines vary by event: in-person 5K and 10K registrations close June 1, 2026; virtual registrations close September 3, 2026; the Kids 1K registration remains open on race day until shortly before the event. A swag bag guarantee applies to registrations completed by September 16, 2026. Listed registration fees include $30 for the in-person 5K, $45 for the in-person 10K, $20 for the Kids 1K, $45 for the virtual 5K, and $55 for the virtual 10K.
All 10K and 5K participants receive official timing with chips. Overall awards are presented for first through third place in the 10K and 5K, and youth overall awards recognize youth competitors in those distances. Participant items include an official race T-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a signature swag bag. Finish-line refreshments include a Zeal Premium Rum cocktail for guests 21 and older or a mocktail alternative. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
