About the race
Zapomenuté hory is an autumn trail ultramarathon held in the Rychlebské hory region, with links to the Jeseníky area. The 2026 edition is the ninth running of this event and takes place on 17 October 2026. The route follows a network of mountain trails and leads to remote and wild parts of the Rychlebské hory, with varied natural landmarks shown in the event gallery such as Vysoký hřbet, Čertova kazatelna, and Nýznerovský vodopád.
The event features an evening program of lectures and entertainment alongside the race. Organizers publish a gallery of photographs and maintain a forum for participant messages and exchanges about registrations.
