About the race
ZAMIEĆ 2027 is a winter ultramarathon held on Skrzyczne (1257 m above sea level) near Szczyrk, Poland. The event runs over two days, 22–23 January 2027, and offers time-based competition formats on a mountain loop of approximately 14.2 km per lap.
Three race formats are available with different total ascent targets and durations:
- 24h ZAMIEĆ 24H, full 24 hour event, ~3000 m+ ascent per competitor.
- 12h ZAMIEĆ 12H, 12 hour event, ~1500 m+ ascent per competitor.
- 6h ZAMIEĆ 6H, 6 hour event, ~800 m+ ascent per competitor.
All formats run on the same loop and allow an unlimited number of laps with a minimum of one lap. The 24 hour format includes the option to split the distance among team members. Each entry receives a commemorative medal. The event provides warm feeding points on course, basic medical support, and accident insurance (NNW). Conditions are winter mountain conditions: snow, wind and low temperatures are explicitly noted as possible on the route.
Competition is solo in nature for individual entrants except where team options are specified for the 24 hour format. Logistics and safety provisions listed by the organizer include aid points, medical presence and insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
