Yukon River Trail Marathon

Website

The Yukon River Trail Marathon, held annually in Whitehorse, Yukon, has been running strong for over 25 years. This scenic marathon features a challenging course that begins on the Millennium Trail and winds through single-track paths to Kwanlin (Miles Canyon) and Canyon City. Runners continue along the Yukon River Trail toward Chadburn Lake, then follow trails around Schwatka Lake and Hidden Lakes, finishing near the Whitehorse dam before returning alongside the Yukon River to the finish.

The event offers a unique opportunity to experience the natural beauty of Whitehorse while tackling a demanding trail run. It is organized by the Boreal Adventure Running Association and supported by local sponsors and volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
