Yankee Doodle Dash 5K and 10K
The Yankee Doodle Dash is a running event held on July 4, 2026 at the Mill Village Trailhead, 109 Eve Street, Augusta, Georgia 30904. The course is an out and back route that follows the Savannah River on a mostly flat path. The event offers chip timing with awards determined by gun times.

Packet pickup is scheduled for July 3, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Fury's Ferry Road, Augusta, Georgia. A limited number of finisher medals will be ordered on June 1, 2026; participants who register after that quantity is reached are not guaranteed a medal. Water will be provided on the course at each turnaround point.
The event is described as dog, stroller, and family friendly; participants who bring dogs are asked to clean up after them. Awards are given overall and in age divisions with three places in each listed category, including 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. Donations of school supplies will be collected for a raffle ticket.
