Yankee Doodle Dash 5K and 10K
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at the Mill Village Trailhead, 109 Eve Street, Augusta, Georgia. It offers two distances on a mostly flat out and back course that follows the Savannah River.

- 5K out and back along the Savannah River
The race is chip timed and awards are determined by gun times. Age-group awards are given to the top three in each listed category, including Overall, 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and older. Organizers will order 300 finisher medals on June 1, 2026; registrants after that number are not guaranteed a medal.
Packet pickup is scheduled for July 3, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Fury's Ferry Road, Augusta, Georgia. There is no standard morning packet pickup unless coordinated beforehand. Online registration is available through race day, subject to medal availability. Water will be available on the course at each turnaround point.
The site is dog, stroller, and family friendly; participants who bring dogs are asked to clean up after them. The event will collect school supplies for local children and will offer raffle tickets to donors. Results will be posted online the day of the event.
