Wyneken PTL Spooktacular 5K and Fun Run
The Wyneken PTL Spooktacular includes a 5K race and a short fun run for children. The event raises funds for the PTL, which serves families, teachers, and students of Wyneken Lutheran School. The course uses the school property and nearby countryside and returns to the parking area known as "The Cross."

- 3.1 Miles 5K race
- 0.5 Miles fun run for kids 13 and under
The 5K course follows a loop from the parking lot, goes around the cemetery and church, crosses into the grass grove across from the school, and includes an out-and-back section on a road before returning to the loop. The finish is at "The Cross" in the parking lot. The event will feature themed elements along the route described as goblins, ghosts, and other spooky items. Costumes are welcome.
Registration details for the 2026 event note that registration opens August 20 and closes September 24. The 5K registration fee is $25.00 for all ages. The fun run is free. To receive a T-shirt, participants must register by September 24, 2026.
