Wyneken PTL Spooktacular 5K and Fun Run
The Wyneken PTL is hosting its first Spooktacular 5K and fun run as a fundraiser for the PTL, which serves families, teachers, and students at Wyneken Lutheran School in Decatur, Indiana. The event starts and finishes at "The Cross" parking lot and includes running in the grass grove across from the school.
The 5K course follows a loop from the parking lot around the cemetery and church, continues into the grove, includes a road out-and-back segment, returns to the cross, and repeats the loop. The event will feature goblins, ghosts, and other spooky elements along the route. Costumes are welcome.
Distances:
- 3.1 Miles 5K race around cemetery, church, grove, and road out and back
- 0.5 Miles Fun run for children 10 and under
The 5K has a registration fee of $25.00 for all ages. The fun run is free. To receive a T-shirt, registration must be completed by September 24, 2026.
