Course and features
Both courses follow the Loyalsock Trail, Loyalsock State Forest and Worlds End State Park. Routes run largely on rugged single-track and include waterfalls, cascades, rocky ledges, ponds, and multiple overlooks named on course maps. The 100k route includes additional side trails to complete the loop.
Logistics
The 100k has a 19-hour time limit and is supported by 13 aid stations; 4 of those aid stations are crew accessible and there are 3 pacer exchange locations. The 50k has a 12-hour time limit, 6 aid stations, no crew access, and pacers are not permitted. Aid stations list common ultra foods including fresh fruit and cooked items.
