Workington 5k Series

The Workington 5K Series is a set of four officially measured 5-kilometer races held at Workington Cricket Club, Earnest Valentine Ground, in Great Britain. The series takes place on select Wednesdays from May to August, offering runners the option to participate in one or all races. The course, certified by the Association of UK Course Measurers, follows Route B and features a lead bike and sweeper runner for safety.

Prizes are awarded for top finishers in each race and overall series standings, with age categories recognized. Chip timing is used for accurate results, and first aid support is provided on-site.
