Event Overview

The Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K will be held. In 2026, the full and half marathon events will be in their 14th year. The 2025 event sold out completely.

The event has a partnership with St Richard’s Hospice, an independent charity providing free care in Worcestershire. Participants are encouraged to raise funds or make donations for the hospice.

Race Details

The event offers three race distances:

  • Marathon (26.2 miles)
  • Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 10K (6.2 miles)

The marathon and half marathon start at 9:30 AM on Offerton Lane. The marathon consists of two laps around rural lanes. The half marathon shares the first lap with the marathon before splitting off after approximately 11 miles. The 10K race starts at 10:00 AM. The finish for all events is at Worcester Rugby Club.

A cut-off time applies only to the marathon. Runners must reach the 11-mile point (where the half marathon turns for the finish) within 2 hours and 15 minutes. If not, they will be directed to complete the half marathon distance instead. Finishers will still receive a medal and time for the half marathon.

Participant Information

All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Professional race photographs will be available online after the event.

Parking is free for everyone at Sixways Stadium. There is a 5-minute walk from the parking area to the race finish area at Worcester Rugby Club. Participants are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their race start.

Race numbers and timing chips are mailed to participants before the event. A registration point will be open from 7:30 AM on race day for queries or lost race packs, but there will be no entries accepted on the day.
