Course and logistics
The full marathon is two laps of a rural-lanes loop; the half follows the same first lap then returns to the finish after about 11 miles. The 10K uses part of the same start route and includes a canal towpath section for about 4 km. Numbers and timing chips are posted to entrants; there are no day-entry places. Parking is provided at Sixways Stadium and is free; a short walk leads to the race finish and race HQ. Minimum ages are 18 for the marathon, 17 for the half marathon and 15 for the 10K. Water stations: three on the half, seven on the full and one on the 10K, with energy drinks supplied at most stations. For the full marathon, runners who do not reach the 11-mile point by 2 hours 15 minutes will be directed to complete the half marathon and will still receive a finish time, medal and tee shirt. Refund and transfer rules apply if entrants withdraw. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
