Event overview
The Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K take place on 17 May 2026 at Worcester Rugby Football Club, Offerton Lane, Hindlip, Worcester. Distances offered:

All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Photographs from the event are taken by an event photographer. The event partners with St Richard’s Hospice and offers options for runners to raise funds for that charity.
Course and logistics
The marathon is two laps of a rural lane loop with an additional loop on the second lap. The half follows the same first lap as the full then splits at about 11 miles to return to the finish. The 10K shares part of the route and uses a canal towpath section of approximately 4 km toward Dunhampstead.
Parking is provided at Sixways and is free. There is a short walk from parking to the race HQ and finish area. Numbers and timing chips are posted to entrants; there are no race day entries, but a registration/information point is available at the raceground for late pack collection. A baggage drop, toilets and on-course water stations are provided. There are three water stations on the half, seven on the full and one on the 10K; energy drink cups are supplied at most stations. Reuse of plastics is encouraged.
Entries, fees and rules
Minimum ages: Marathon 18, Half 17, 10K 15. Typical entry fees: marathon £44 affiliated / £46 unaffiliated, half £38 / £40, 10K £30 / £32 (plus transaction fees). If marathon runners do not reach the 11-mile point by 2 hours 15 minutes they will be directed to complete the half. Refunds are available up to six weeks before the event less a £2 admin fee; transfers are permitted before race day.
