Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K
The event comprises a full marathon, a half marathon and a 10K held on roads and canal towpaths around Worcester. The full marathon is two laps of a rural lane circuit; the half follows the same first lap then returns to the finish at Worcester Rugby Club. The 10K includes a scenic stretch on the canal towpath.
Entries for 2026 are open; the event ran for the 14th year in 2026 and the 2025 races sold out with around 150 people on waiting lists. All finishers receive a bespoke 2026 medal and race photographs will be available after the event.
Support and logistics information: parking is provided at Sixways with a short walk to the race finish and Race HQ. Numbers and timing chips are collected on race day and are not posted out. There are baggage drop facilities, toilets by the finish area, and prizes for the first three men and women plus age group awards from 35 years in ten year increments.
Hydration and safety: the half marathon has three water stations and the full marathon has seven plus one extra at mile 18; the 10K has one water station. The marathon has a time control at 11 miles; runners not past that point by 2 hours 15 minutes will be directed to complete the half marathon and will receive a finish time and medal.
Charity: St Richard’s Hospice is a named partner supporting marshals and fundraising; the hospice receives community funding for most of its costs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
