The Athletes Foot Women's Classic Fun Run
The West Australian Marathon Club stages The Athletes Foot Women's Classic Fun Run on 20 September 2026 at the WAMC Clubrooms in Burswood. The event marks the 40th anniversary of the Women’s Classic and is open to non-members.
Distances offered include:
- 10 km solo
- 5 km solo
- 2.5 km relay, teams of up to 4 with each leg 2.5 km
The event donates its proceeds to Breast Cancer Care WA. Organisers list an entry package that includes a 40th Anniversary glass with bubbles or non-alcoholic alternative, a glass holder lanyard, and a post-run breakfast.
Bib collection is available the day before at the WAMC Clubrooms and there is an alternative collection option from the WAMC office on the preceding Friday. Organisers operate a no bib, no race policy and allow collection by a friend or family member; participants living outside the Perth metro area must arrange Sunday collection with the club.
Online registration has a stated closing date and a late registration penalty applies from the Saturday before the event for non-members. The course cut off is set at 10:00am, with indicated minimum paces of 12 minutes per km for the 10 km and 19 minutes per km for the 5 km.
