The Athletes Foot Women's Classic Fun Run
The West Australian Marathon Club will host The Athletes Foot Women's Classic Fun Run on 20 September 2026 at the WAMC Clubrooms in Burswood. The event is open to non-members and marks the 40th anniversary of the Women’s Classic.
Distances offered:
- 10 km solo
- 5 km solo
- 2.5 km relay, teams of four (each runner completes 2.5 km)
Entries include a special 40th anniversary glass with a non-alcoholic option, a glass holder lanyard, and a post-event breakfast. The event is held in support of Breast Cancer Care WA, with proceeds donated to the charity.
Bib collection is scheduled at the WAMC Clubrooms on Saturday 1 August, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with an additional collection option at the WAMC office on Friday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Participants may nominate someone to collect a bib on their behalf; if that is not possible, they must contact the WAMC office to arrange an alternative.
A course cut off is in place at 10:00 am. Indicative paces for cut off are 12 minutes per kilometre for the 10 km and 19 minutes per kilometre for the 5 km. The relay format is being held for the first time in 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
