Women's 5km Walk/Run - Launceston
The Women's 5 km Walk/Run is a community event in Launceston, Tasmania, held on Sunday 13 September 2026. The physical route starts and finishes at Launceston City Park and passes through the streets of Launceston before returning to the park. There is also a virtual participation option that allows Tasmanian residents to complete the distance from elsewhere in the state.
The event is organised by Cancer Council Tasmania to raise funds for local support, prevention, research and advocacy programs. Funds raised through the event help deliver services such as transport2treatment, complementary therapies and prevention education, and all funds raised in Tasmania remain in Tasmania. The event is smoke free.
