About the race
The Wolfgangseelauf is a running event around Lake Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut region. The event is held annually on the third October weekend; the 54th international edition is scheduled for 17–18 October 2026. It comprises several race formats that range from short panorama runs to a full marathon.
Registration is handled online via Pentek Payment with discounted early registration phases and specific price steps across the year. Personal late registrations are accepted at set locations and times for higher fees. The organiser publishes course profiles, participant information, results, photos and records for participants.
