Wolf Creek Canyon Relay
The Wolf Creek Canyon Relay is held on October 4, 2026, in Wolf Creek, Montana. The course covers 28 miles through Wolf Creek Canyon and is divided into four legs. Chip timing is provided at each leg exchange by Competitive Timing; intermediate splits within a leg are not recorded.
The event offers multiple entry formats: solo, two person team, four person team, military relay team (all members must have a military background), and an eight person relay team. Each participant pays an individual entry fee of $40 to receive event items and chip timing at leg exchanges. Each team is responsible for its own members throughout the race distance.
Registration closes on September 27, 2026. Solo registration opens February 16, 2026; registration for team categories opens December 4, 2025. There is a five hour maximum time for completion.
For visibility to motorists, participants are asked to wear a reflective vest. One vest is provided free to each team. Additional vests are available for a nominal fee at packet pickup, or teams may provide their own vests. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
