Wolf Creek Canyon Relay
The Wolf Creek Canyon Relay is a 28 mile running event located in Wolf Creek, Montana. The course traverses the Wolf Creek Canyon and is divided into four distinct legs. Competitive Timing provides chip timing for each of these four segments at the exchange points.
Participants have several options for completing the distance:
- Solo
- Two Person Team
- Four Person Relay Team
- Military Relay Team
- 8 person Relay Team
The 8 person relay option allows teams to divide each of the four legs between two different runners. This results in segments of approximately 3.5 miles rather than the full 7 mile legs. While these internal splits are not recorded by the official chip timing system, teams can arrange their own rotations.
All participants receive event swag and chip timing at the primary leg exchanges. Each team is responsible for the transition and support of its own members throughout the duration of the race. The event accommodates various paces by offering different starting windows for teams based on their estimated completion time, with a maximum time limit of five hours for those in the earlier start group.
