6th Annual WIT 5K at Montgomery Whitewater
The event takes place on November 22, 2025, at Montgomery Whitewater, 1100 Maxwell Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36104. It is organized by Women In Training, Inc., a volunteer-driven youth empowerment nonprofit that works to end period poverty. The event raises funds for the WITKITS campaign to provide menstrual, dental and hygiene supplies, plus menstrual education and leadership opportunities, to underserved young people.

Details, awards and history
In-person 5K participants receive a unique WIT 5K t-shirt and a participant medal; virtual 5K registrants receive a shirt, bib and medal by mail and may submit results online. In-person overall male and female winners receive trophies. Age group awards are given for first through third place in these groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. Entry fees listed by the organizer include reduced youth pricing for ages 7 to 18.
