Event
Winter Race the Neighbours is organised by North London Hospice and takes place on 25 January 2026 in Cherry Tree Wood, 88 Summerlee Avenue, East Finchley, London N2 9QH. The event is a 10K run through East Finchley and Muswell Hill with views over London. Entries close on 23 January 2026. All participants must be aged 16 or over.
Entry and logistics
There are two entry options: standard entry (fundraising) at £20 and a no-fundraising entry at £27.50. A booking fee of £2 also applies. Fundraising entrants have a minimum sponsorship target of £30. On the day, runners receive a chipped race bib, water before, on the course and after, and a cereal bar and fruit at the finish. The route is available to view on the organiser's mapped route.
Prizes and fundraising
Prizes will be awarded to the three fastest male and three fastest female finishers. The Cherry Tree Cup will be given to the residential postcode with the fastest combined time. Postcodes listed for the neighbourhood competition include N2, N10, N6, N22, N3, N11, N12, N8 and N19. Proceeds donated to North London Hospice will support care for patients with life-limiting illnesses and related family and carer support.
