Winter Challenge Tasmania, Orford, 16 August 2026
Winter Challenge Tasmania is a multisport event held in Orford, Tasmania on 16 August 2026. The event consists of four race legs completed in relay style; competitors may enter solo, as a pair, or in teams of three or four. The event is presented as a classic Tasmanian multisport race.
Distances for the multisport challenge:
- 10 km kayak
- 28 km road bike
- 15 km mountain bike
- 10 km trail run
The event also hosts the Australian egg and spoon national championships, which include family and team relay formats as well as individual races. Event information and results are provided by the organisers, and a number of local organisations and suppliers are listed as sponsors and partners.
The organisers acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands and waters used for the kayaking, cycling and running courses, naming trayapana country and paying respect to elders past and present of Aboriginal lutruwita (Tasmania).
