Event Format
The Wings for Life World Run in Pinnaroo, South Australia, uses a unique format. All participants start together. A "Catcher Car" starts moving after a set time and gradually increases its speed, chasing runners from behind. The event is over for a runner when they are passed by the car. The distance each runner achieves is their final result. This is an App Run event; participation is managed through the official mobile app.

The run starts at 16-19 Railway Terrace South in Pinnaroo. The course is wheelchair accessible.
