Wings for Life World Run - Indianapolis

The Wings for Life World Run in Indianapolis is an app-based running event taking place on May 10, 2026. The local meeting point is at the Athletic Annex in Indianapolis, United States. The event is organized as part of the Wings for Life World Run locations.

The race does not use a traditional finish line. Runners and wheelchair participants keep ahead of a Virtual Catcher Car that begins pursuing competitors 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and gradually increases speed until the last participants are caught. Participation in the event is linked to the Wings for Life World Run mobile app. The event is accessible for wheelchair participants.

The course starts at the doors of the Athletic Annex, proceeds through the streets of Clay Terrace, and then continues onto the Monon Trail. Local setup includes a refreshment station, timing and race number distribution, and other race-day facilities.
