Winchester Triathlon
The Winchester Triathlon takes place on May 25, 2026 at Kings School in Winchester, Hampshire. The organizer is TryTri.
The event features three distinct distances, each with a pool swim, a bike leg, and a run leg:
- Sprint Distance: A 400m pool swim, a 22km flat bike course, and a 5km flat run.
- Novice Distance: A 200m pool swim, an 11km flat bike course, and a 2.5km flat run.
- Junior Distance: A 100m swim in a shallow pool, a 2km bike ride, and a 1km run, for participants aged 8 and up.
The junior event is fully supervised and takes place within the school grounds. The bike routes are described as going through picturesque countryside, while the run goes through the city’s green spaces. Spectators are welcome, particularly for the junior event.
The event is supported by NFU Mutual Winchester, Alton & Wickham. A participant information pack with further details is available. On-site facilities include free parking (with limited spaces), toilets, and water stations at the finish line.
