Wimbledon 10K
The Wimbledon 10K is a road race that starts and finishes at Wimbledon Common next to Rushmere Pond in SW19. The event is scheduled for 17 May 2026 and is open to entrants aged 18 and over. The route passes through streets of Wimbledon and the race is described as accessible by car and by public transport.
Race headquarters and registration are located near Rushmere Pond. The event uses chip timing and posts results as runners cross the finish area. A free baggage drop will be available in a cordoned area, with a notice that valuables should not be left there. Toilets are provided at the start and finish area. A medical team is stationed at the start area and an official photographer will be on course. A short warm up is held shortly before the race.
All finishers receive a medal and finish area provisions include water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar. Entry fees are shown in the range of £25.00 to £27.00. The nearest rail station is Wimbledon; bus 93 towards Putney Bridge serves the route with a stop at the War Memorial. Walking from Wimbledon station via Wimbledon Hill Road and High Street to the War Memorial takes about twenty minutes. Metered parking is available around Ridgeway and nearby side roads and the organisers ask that drivers avoid parking too close to race headquarters and be considerate to local residents.
