Williamsburg Trail Firecracker 5k
The Williamsburg Trail Firecracker 5k takes place on July 4, 2026, at 939 S Highland St, Williamsburg, IA 52361. The event supports the Williamsburg Trail Committee, with proceeds directed to Phase 2 of the Williamsburg Trail Project.
The course begins at the trail head behind the Williamsburg Recreation Center, follows the current trail west over a bridge, then turns south toward Bayer. The trail surface will be all hard-surface for this edition.

- 1-Mile Fun Run
Age divisions are 0-7, 8-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus. Water is provided after the race. Age-division medals are awarded to the top male and top female in each category.
