Wilhelmsburger Insellauf

The International Wilhelmsburg Island Run is one of Hamburg's most traditional public races, taking participants across Europe's largest river island. The course passes through allotment gardens, along the Dove Elbe, over dikes, as well as streets and field paths. There are various disciplines, including a half marathon, a 10 km run, a 5 km run, and a student run.

Every finisher receives the coveted Railway Workers' Medal, dedicated to the founding fathers of the Railway Workers' Sports Club Einigkeit from 1908 e.V. The run enjoys great popularity and regularly records high participant numbers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
