Event Overview
The Wildcat 5K is an annual running event hosted as a fundraiser by Stuart Elementary School. It takes place on Friday, April 24, 2026. The race begins and ends at Stuart Elementary School, located at 314 Staples Avenue in Stuart, Virginia.
Proceeds from the event support the school's running club. Funds are used to sustain club practices, cover entry fees for future races, and provide supplies for the 5K.
Event Details
Participants can enter one of two registration categories:
- Wildcat 5K: General registration priced at $25.
- Wildcat 5K Student Sign up: A discounted registration for students priced at $20.
All registered participants receive an event T-shirt. Post-race refreshments are provided.
Awards
Awards are presented after the race. Awards are unique to this event. The top three overall male and female finishers will receive awards. Awards are also given to the first-place male and female finisher in each age group.
Age groups are: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
