Wild Woman Trail Weekend
Wild Woman Trail Runs is an all-women trail race weekend held June 19-21, 2026 in Trout Lake, Washington, at the base of Mt. Adams in the Columbia River Gorge. The event combines organized races with a weekend retreat format.
Distances offered include:
- 50k Ultra Distance
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- Relay team legs from 4.6 to 8 miles
The courses run through Pacific Northwest forest and cross multiple mountain streams. Aid stations are provided along the routes and finish lines are used for each distance. Relay teams divide the marathon course into shorter segments.
Camping is included and encouraged for participants, and family members may attend. Weekend activities described for the race weekend include speaker panels, workshops, post-run pizza, lunch, recovery cold-soak tubs, and community-focused support. The event is presented in a small-scale, grassroots format with a combination of competition and shared outdoor activities.
The Wild Woman series began in 2012 and was described as the first all-women marathon or 50k event in the country. The weekend is positioned as both a race and a community retreat at the base of a prominent volcano in the Columbia River Gorge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
