The Vienna Höhenstraßenlauf is Europe's oldest continuously held road race and takes place annually on the first Saturday in October. The 14.3-kilometer route runs from Leopoldsberg over Kahlenberg and Cobenzl to Marswiese in Neuwaldegg. The course features both uphill and downhill sections and is well-suited for amateur runners.
