The event takes place at South River Vineyard, 6062 S River Rd W, Geneva, OH on August 8, 2026. It offers two distance options: a 5K run or walk and a 1K tasting walk. The 5K permits walking and has two water stations along the course plus a water station at the finish.
Ticket inclusions differ by distance. 1K tickets include three 1 oz wine tastings along the course, a fourth tasting at the finish served in a personal wine glass, an event bib, the 2026 event shirt, and access to the after party. 5K tickets include a free wine glass with wine at the finish, an event bib, the 2026 event shirt, a finisher medal, and access to the after party. A spectator tasting-only ticket is available and includes an etched wine glass and a bracelet to enable wine purchases.
On-site features include race bags and goods, food trucks, aid stations, games, a merch tent, finish line wine, dance and costume contests, and after-party activities. The 5K uses pace-based start waves every 2-3 minutes and has a 90-minute completion window. Packet pickup is generally on race day at the venue; specific details will be posted two weeks prior. There is a $20 option to have race packets mailed and automatically checked in.
