Wicked Wine Run - Rock & Wool Winery
The Wicked Wine Run takes place at the Rock & Wool Winery in Poynette, Wisconsin, offering a combination of running, walking, and wine tasting. Participants can choose from several distance options held on the winery grounds:
- 5K Run/Walk: A fun run where participants have 90 minutes to complete the course.
- 1K Tasting Walk: A shorter distance featuring wine sampling stations along the route.
Individuals may also choose to participate in both the 5K and 1k events. The 5K course includes two water stations and concluding beverages at the finish line. Registration for the 5K includes an event shirt, a finisher medal, an event bib, and a glass of wine at the end of the race. The 1K entry provides an event shirt, an event bib, and four total wine tastings: three distributed along the course and one at the finish line served in a souvenir wine glass.
The event features an after-party with music, food trucks, games, and a dance contest. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes for a chance to win prizes. While the event is centered around participants, spectator tasting tickets are available for purchase at the merchandise tent, which include a wine glass and access to purchase beverages. On-site parking is available for a fee, and packets can be picked up on event day for an additional charge or mailed to participants in advance.
